About the Position
We’re hiring a full-time, year-round Equipment Operators for two of our large dairy farms located in New York. This position will be responsible for crop planting and harvesting, manure handling, silo and forage maintenance. During non-cropping periods, responsibilities will include maintenance of equipment, building and property, moving forages, bunk silo maintenance. Vehicles operated include all farm equipment, pay-loaders, skid-steer loaders, and 10 wheel dump trucks.

Qualifications
- A valid CDL B license is preferred. The ability to obtain a CDL B and currently have a valid driver’s license is required.
- Previous experience with farm machinery, planting and harvesting, and truck operations.
- Possess some mechanical abilities preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Hours
7:00 am – 6:00 pm with an unpaid hour off for lunch. During planting and harvesting periods, employees may be required to work extended hours.
Salary
Based on education and experience.
